You need to take a look at your passes and probably call and ask. You can usually buy discount passes towards the end of the season for just the rest of the year but they will be closing down for the season soon and it's not likely to be worth it. They have let us use our passes for the next year during prior year but I think they've stopped doing that.
Yes its awesome for kids
Yes, I just bought a 2-day pass and both of my children got in for free with me with military ID (retired)
Yes. Price is around 40 dollars
Yes, they have some available for rent.
Yes, you need to reserve them in advance, though. You can go on their website and call or reserve online.
Yes, umbrellas are allowed.
The season pass are bes.
They search bags at the gate but they are only looking for glass or weapons. Soft sided coolers and outside food and drinks are allowed.

We had a great time but at the end we tried to ride the mystic river and it was pretty brutal. It went down for a bit and waited in line three hours until we found an exit and got out of there and didn't even get to ride it. It wasn't worth waiting in line one minute more. Everything else was great though.
Being from TN, this has a Dollywood feel. The whole family loved this place! Awesome rides and lines were low since it was supposed to rain that day. Nestled in the Ozarks, so plenty of beautiful green all around. We will definitely be back. :)
SDC is a lifelong, many generation family tradition for my family. We love it. All the staff are so friendly, food is good, albeit a little pricey, and they have amazing roller coasters and rides. They are doing a great job with their covid restrictions, masks are required and actually enforced, hand sanitizer before getting on any ride, social distancing on rides, etc. Can't wait to come back!
Can't say enough great things about Silver Dollar City. Haven't been there since I was a child and I still remember the entire experience. It was just rated best theme park in the COUNTRY so that should tell y'all something (it's a good theme park!) And for those of you who are angry at Silver Dollar City for implementing a mask requirement, seriously, grow up and wear the dang mask if you're going. Silver Dollar City is just following the guidelines set forth by the nation and if you don't like it... stay home :), either way, none of us asked for this and it makes the pandemic so much more bearable if people would just cooperate and act like adults... Anyways, much love for Silver Dollar City, you guys rock!
I've been going to Silver Dollar City since I was a kid. I'm now 32 years old. My family planned a trip here and then the Coronavirus happened. We weren't deterred and decided to go. Unfortunately with the social distancing and the limiting of the number of people in the park, they had a lot of shops, shows, and food places closed. We still paid the same price to get into the park for about 70% of the attractions. Overall very friendly staff and what attractions were open, we all enjoyed ourselves.
Fun place with unique experiences. I loved the Fireman's Drill ride! Shopping was great. People were really nice. We got in with complimentary promo passes.
Best park in the country! Mystic river falls is the best ride I've ever ridden, waited 2 hours in line for it and it could've been the only thing I did all day and I'd still say it was worth the trip. Keep it up SDC!
We bought the moonlight madness tickets for after 5pm expecting to see everything but we were wrong. There is a lot of stuff to see. Be cautious of close weather because they will shut down rollercoasters for lightning within 10 miles. Found out the hard way by standing in line for Time Travler 3 times for lightning, fireworks, and after fireworks. Also, Covid related, they do a really good job with sanitizing and social distancing on rides. This was my first time at park and will be planning trip next year!
Great park! They are doing great with social distancing and demand masks be worn throughout the park, unfortunately some guests refused to follow these simple commands. The food is very pricey for not that much and not that great. Other than that its 5/5
Went to see diamond Rio. It was good. Sdc has strayed too far from the theme of their park and the memorable feelings you used to get are diminishing with it. The family park is trying to enforce the mask ordinance of the city. They have a dress policy that is clearly not enforced when you see half of someone's rear hanging out. I have little ones and don't appreciate the fact that they let those kind of people.
So right now unless you have the fast pass or season pass holder its not worth going. They are not filling the rides fully which causes extended wait times. I definitely will not go back any time soon. Masks are required which is not a deal breaker but they basically shut the park down at 9 when they so their fireworks show so unless your going there for that reason you might as well leave then. We were at the beginning of the line about to get on and they shut it all down. We waited 45 min to get to the front of the line and didnt even get to ride it. Their new water ride is also a joke and constantly was broke down. So they are promoting it for people to come try it out and it doesnt even work. We drove over 3 hours to come here and it was a major disappointment. I doubt I will ever come back. Was not worth the money. Six Flags or Frontier city is half the price and you get so much more out of it. This place is a total joke. Really overrated.
While we usually greatly enjoy ourselves when we go, this time was miserable for a good part. The masks in heat advisory temps are horrible, mine was soaked with sweat so I'm sure it was effective. Half the concessions are closed as are some attractions. Not enough misters or cooling stations. And still had to wait in line for long time even though 1/6 the ppl there. The little ones had a blast though so made up for a little bit.
Even during the Covid time, friendly staff. Constant cleaning. All safety measures in place. We loved it.
Lots of fun, with rides, activities, and shows for everyone. Certain shows and rides are closed due to the pandemic (the cave tour and grandpa's mansion for example). The only downside is it's a bit on the pricey side.
THEY WILL SELL YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!!! DO NOT complete the online survey after your visit!!!!. Yesterday, SDC sent me a online survey to complete based on our recent family visit. I want them to succeed and to continue to provide a value and memorable experience to all that come through the gate. I took the time to complete the survey thoroughly and honestly to provide places they could improve the experience if needed. This morning, I wake up with dozens of emails from all kinds of vendors. I have been getting them all day. SDC sold my email. This is the ONLY way I'm on all these random distributions starting after I completed the survey. SHAME ON THEM!
Great had alot of fun. Distancing masks. Food rides all good
It's an decent late 1800 themed amusement park. There are several decent rides and plenty of shops. The staff attitudes here are mixed, but generally are friendly if you engage with them. There are lots of premium charges for things like better parking, front of the line access, lockers, and even drying yourself off after a wet ride. Food prices are generally pretty high for what you get. Overall portions are small and quality varies from decent to mediocre. Also the selection is limited both in the park and per shop so you may have to run around to gather food for a family with various tastes.
I've been going here for my hole life and all I can say is... its absolutely amazingly amazing... from rides to food to shops to entertainment... every part of it is all good!! Although I just went to a couple of rides and someone was sent off twice in a row due to the ride not securing... I think that they should fix that because its not fun to be sent off a ride👎🤨... but otherwise good!!👍👍👍😄😁😁😁😅😆👍👍👍👍
Great rides, short lines. Good COVID measures and most people wear masks. Not all the attractions are open, but we had fun
I've been to Silver Dollar City practically countless times, and every time the service is amazing! Even though we're all going through tough times right now, they had hand sanitizer on every corner and all of the workers were keeping their distance and wearing masks. The rides are all great, especially for thrill-seekers like me. Their newest ride, Mystic River Falls was very enjoyable, too! I highly recommend going there if you want to have a good time and ride lots of rides. The shops are always so pleasing to the eye as well; everything is organized and the crafts that they make are beautiful. Apart from that, the food is delicious, and they have lots of variety when it comes to food choices! From camel jerky to fried bread pastries, they have a great selection for food that you can pick!
What a total rip off. It cost 16.00 to park, 70.00 per person to enter. We spend $156.00 to see only one show of picking. Most stores were closed and what was open the prices are outrageous especially the water. One of your employees agreed with me that it’s unfair to charge as you go and see nothing. You really should be ashamed of yourselves. Think about a family of 4. How can you charge them such outrageous prices. We are retired and thank God we could afford it. Never will I recommend anyone to visit your park as I did with my neighbor that was thinking about doing so
Such a great place for people of every age! Awesome for families, awesome for singles! So much better that so many places! We go so many times each year!
I love this place. My parents brought me here when it opened going down a dirt road to get here. It has only gotten better. It has the values that are important. There is a wide variety of rides for all ages. The shops and craftsmen are extremely knowledgeable and nice. I'm 66 years old and have very seldom missed a year coming since they have opened.
Family friendly. (Ages 2, 3, 7, 8, 8, 26, 27, 28, 29, 57, and 68 years old - we all enjoyed something there.) LOTS OF WALKING, but that's to be expected. Carts and strollers are able to be rented. The Flooded Mine was a family highlight. The 3-8 year olds and my husband loved the American Plunge. There were a lot of different options for different ages and levels of thrill seeking. We did have 1 issue with 1 ride worker, but he was technically in the right, it just wasn't handled quite like it should have been. That was a small bump in an otherwise enjoyable day. The evening show was INCREDIBLE and the fireworks were AMAZING! It's expensive, but unique and definitely a must-see when you're in Branson. You'll need more than a day to explore the whole place. (Make sure to check out the glass blowing!)
During this time, because of the rules and regulations that have to be followed, SDC is miserable. The lines for EVERYTHING are long. Not all of the shops are open. Not as many shows. Wearing masks all the time makes it even hotter and more miserable. Even with the decrease in services, SDC has not lowered their prices. We'll go back when it seems worth the $72.
Not worth how expensive it is. Only a few rides and you still pay for everything inside the place. Bought a refill cup for 18$ and still have to pay for refills. A little less than normal price but not much. Not worth it. Not fun either. Go to ANY other amusement around Branson. Don't waste your money at silver dollar city
I’ve bought season passes for 3 years (this being the 4th). I However decided to opt out this year and request a refund due to all the uncertainty of covid. I don’t feel that it should take a month to receive a refund. Why? How is that in any way acceptable? I’m very disappointed in the customer service aspect (this is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with customer service at silver dollar city). I am disappointed in the way that they are handling refunds and the slow time frame that has been given to issue the refund. If this is how customer service is handled then it really makes me question buying a season pass again.
Wow Okay so im from Oklahoma and out of every park I've been to I definitely have to say this one takes the cake staff were super friendly they kept up with the cleaning and did their best to enforce mask safety all around great park we already plan on coming back one more time before we go back home but so far I have to say the wild fire is now my all time favorite roller coaster Edit, we came back for our second day on our ticket and gosh can I rate it 6 stars because this place is awesome, only complaint I have is the stores close early and sometimes you'll walk by one and see something you want, but too bad they'd already be closed but it could just be because of covid I don't really know
These Hills have Excitement! As a first time visitor it was refreshing to visit a super family friendly oriented amusement park. The staff really catered to "the enjoyment factor" with themed style clothing. A blend of yester years culture gone by and a touch of modern time rides, the entire family will certainly find hours of fun with no guilt involved. If your looking for a truly family oriented time, this is a win win for the entire family!
Embracing the difficulties of entertainment in the midst of the Covid crisis with the same professional manner as the previous 6 decades. The social distanced and constantly cleaned Saloon Show was hilarious! Mystic River Falls delivered on the anticipation - Great ride, and the tower lift makes it a stand out!!
The guidelines put into place made me feel safe. Fun time, as always! Temp check on the way in, masks on while in the park. Buy a day, get a day free...very good promotion! AND we got to ride the new rides!! Really enjoyed our vacation 😊
Please do not waste your money! It is nothing like it used to be!!! Rude people!! Broke down rides no shows half the shops are closed! Not worth it!! We drive 6 hrs to Branson and paid the 72.00per person that was a lot ! Considering no shows and and overpriced food!! Not worth it spend you money other places instead!!! Dolly stampede, helicopter ride train, some of the other items we have done!!!
I love this place, its my childhood and the place where I rode my first roller coaster. The good, wholesome, and happy memories I have had here are going to be forever with me. For those of you pouting that "Oh, you have to wear masks" let me tell you something, THERE IS A PANDEMIC GOING ON! They are just trying to keep people safe. Also the people who say that the music is bad because it is country and bluegrass, the music is part of the of the park, if you hadn't noticed it is a 1880's back country themed amusement park. but I am sorry for not being able to park, that sucks in my opinion, same about the prices it is expensive but I think its worth it. If you looking for fun for the whole family or just you, either way Silver Dollar City is where I would suggest you to go.
Great time we had a blast. Safety was first on every ride and all around the park. Missed not having the shows. We will be back.
Staff does an amazing job sanitizing all rides after each guest and hand sanitizer stations all over the park. The new map makes choosing rides (shows wait times) and activities super easy. Had a blast!
This was great return for me to the park. I haven't been in almost six years and I can tell they've changed things for the better. All of the rides have lines, but for the good reasons of Social Distancing and Safety. Food was pretty good, I had one of their delicious Skillets. The folks at SDC are doing a decent job of keeping everyone safe and even with the COVID-19 limits, I still had a great time. Visit them if you want to brave the journey to Branson, MO
This was our second trip and we really enjoyed it. The are taking the necessary precautions to deal with this covid thing. You will get your temp check before getting into the shuttle. The one downside was that the marvel cave was close.
Best theme park I've ever been to. Fantastic theming throughout. The location of the park is simply majestic. They have 5 top tier coasters and fantastic food.
Never again!!! What a waste of alot of money. Went during the covid-19 pandemic. Had to wear a face mask the entire time. We're outside people!!! They say they practice social distancing but they only enforce it on the actual rides. You'll stand elbow to elbow waiting in line to ride any ride. Then that's when the social distancing takes effect. Twenty seats on a ride and only 3 people at a time in the ride. If we can be packed in a line like sardines why can't we fill the ride to make the lines go faster. Not to mention nothing gets disinfected in between riders. The food Is still good but severely over- priced, just like everything else at steal your dollar city!!!! Don't waste your time or money
My family and I have been to SDC many times but definitely a first during a pandemic!! We were very pleased with all guidelines they were using and everyone was friendly. We went through the week to try to avoid a crowd and we did. Most rides we walked right on!! The first day there we had a scare and left. One of my daughters overheated and they sent first aide and they took care of us. The second day went smooth other then rain and it shut down the rides for a while. If you are going to SDC for the shops and restaurants I would say don’t go until the pandemic has passed.. most were not open. This didn’t matter to us though so we were good. We will definitely continue to make SDC a tradition.
I’ve been to this park several times before, but I was highly disappointed this time. I understand that social distancing needs to be implemented, but it was a bit extreme and felt like they definitely took advantage of the pandemic. The lines went very slow and they never ran multiple trains to get more riders through. Instead ran only one train at a time with about 4 people on each ride even though everyone was required to also wear masks. Lots of shops and shows were cancelled but they did not post it on the doors so you wasted your time walking all the way there and waiting for the next labeled time. We were told that the fireworks only lasted 12 minutes, but they shut down the time Traveller roller coaster for 45 minutes and reopened 15 before park closing. Makes no sense at all besides wanting to limit the number of rides. Not to mention the admission to get in was still full price.
COVID-19 is no joke, but neither is their mandatory mask order. I'm not sure how these other people writing reviews handled it because everyone we saw at the park, including ourselves, were miserable. There are no break areas to take off your mask other than the restaurants (which are mainly outside seating) in the 90+ weather. My daughter was in tears because she couldn't breath in the mask...none of us could. We kept seeing other families triying to get relief from the sweltering heat and instead of employees offering ways to cool down, they told people to pull back up their masks. After reading reviews I thought we could handle the mask wearing, no biggie. Now I strongly encourage anyone who has problems with heat and/or breathing conditions don't go! The park is going to have heat casualties if they are not careful and implement better strategies to their mask order!
What an incredibly fun place for young and old -er alike. The cinnamon rolls are delicious! We had so much fun walking around and checking out all the little shops. My son and his friend had fun on the rides. We will most definitely be returning here when we visit again.
Took family here for their first trip to SDC they couldn't say enough good things about the trip loved everything about this park. Foods a bit pricey but good. No complaints Something to do for everyone
They make you wear masks the entire time at Silver Dollar city but you are packed in the lines right next to each other. It’s a joke! The lines to get on the rides take forever because it’s every other car plus they’re sanitizing. Definitely don’t recommend going, not worth the money and the staff is pretty rude about the masks.
Love Silver Dollar City, Can spend all day there! Amazing to be there during Christmas time. We have went the last three years during Christmas time and love it every year , just expect it to be crowded!
Very overrated. First time to come here and very disappointed with the entire day. Way to expensive. 72$ per person for 25$ worth of entertainment. To be honest we were ready to leave after an hour. And whom ever thinks that masks will stop the spread of ( any virus) is as ridiculous as the prices here. Also the tram drivers are more than rude. Overall. Total rip-off. No wonder Dolly Parton is worth 400 million.
This was a wonderful place to getaway and relax and enjoy! There were some issues at the beginning, but we finally got that taken care of. It was a wonderful day, a little hot, but there was a nice breeze most of the day! The shows we saw were fantastic! Most employees were 99.9% friendly and helpful!
The staff did an amazing job sanitizing, ensuring masks were worn, and people were social distancing. They were friendly as always. Truly enjoyed the Lindley Creek Band-- so fun and talented! The Echo Hollow show was suberb and the fireworks were over the top-- great way to wrap up a family day.
